Scripture of The Day: 30

Psalm 139:1-6
New International Version

Psalm 139
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
1 You have searched me, Lord,
    and you know me.
2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
    you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
    you are familiar with all my ways.
4 Before a word is on my tongue
    you, Lord, know it completely.
5 You hem me in behind and before,
    and you lay your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

So, according to this God knows each of us even better than we ever know ourselves

He knows every minute detail - the good, the bad, the ugly

Others can know us from the outside in and we can know ourselves from the inside out

But only God thoroughly and objectively knows each and every one of us

He knows us better than we can know ourselves

And better than others can ever know us

Because he is omniscient

He sees everything from every possible angle

And what he sees, he understands

I often feel as though people don't understand me, but I can be sure God does
